You can use it in the middle of combat to win a fight youd otherwise lose, or you can surprise an opponent with a hasty threat out of nowhere

So you can cast the instant or sorcery, and then the card goes on an Adventure into exile, from where you can later cast the creature spell

It's the cheapest version of blanket mass land destruction, just needing four mana to destroy all lands on the battlefield
