But the output comes at the price of a 5-mana enchantment that does nothing on its own, so you have to be dedicated to counters in some way
Eight mana to both cast and equip looks similar to Eldrazi Conscription, and although its only got annihilator 1, dealing with the creature doesnt deal with the equipment, so this one gets many more triggers in whether you keep the mace in the Lord of the Rings universe or not
