8 Gumdrop Poisoner Gumdrop Poisoner will shine the most in black/green builds, since that draft archetype focuses on Food tokens and Food creatures, although it can still be decent to good in any black/X build
You attach it with the +1 ability, and the equipped creature gets a +1/+1 counter
As much as I love this guy, I'm not speculating on his price, but if I want to play with them, I'm not going to wait around for too long for his price to get a ton cheaper
Whenever he or another of your creatures dies, you can grab a creature with lower toughness from your graveyard and add it to your hand
Decks that give you more coin counters with abilities like proliferate will definitely get more out of Wishing Well, but even other decks can use this card, and it is still viable in budget or more casual builds
Its also pretty approachable, so you wont get overwhelmed learning it
