Specters are focused on flying creatures that force your opponents to discard whenever they deal combat damage, and thats exactly what Crosis does
It tends to be aggressive, but that doesn't work as well in a format where everyone starts with double the life and multiple opponents capable of removing your threats
Each opponent loses all counters
TL;DR: If someone tries to draw extra cards, they either end up discarding and drawing, or milling instead, so they never actually go up on cards
